Dermatologist Azadeh Shirazi, quoted by Vogue, calls it a favorite even for sensitive patients and says the texture absorbs quickly. Medical News Today names it the best overall drugstore eye cream and notes some people find it heavy. CeraVe says ophthalmologists tested it and the National Eczema Association accepted it. A 2024 review of eye-cream ingredients found few trials on the eye area itself. This cream is for dryness and a weak barrier. It will not erase dark circles that come from shadow or pigment.
