A retinol eye cream from RoC for lines, not for a calm barrier. The concentration is not printed on the bottle. Cosmetic chemist Michelle Wong, writing about retinol stability, notes that a printed percentage means little if the retinol has already broken down, and that Neutrogena's sister Rapid Wrinkle Repair cream is unusually stable. This RoC cream is a different formula. Expect dryness and flaking for the first weeks. Do not use it on broken skin or in the same week you start a prescription retinoid. Wear sunscreen in the morning. A 2024 review says retinoids have the best wrinkle evidence of common eye-cream ingredients, and that eye-area trials are still scarce.
