The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG
Updated Nov 8, 2026 · Top Eye creams
Best for Puffy mornings when you want a printed 5 percent caffeine serum, not a moisturizer.
The Ordinary prints the dose: 5 percent caffeine, plus EGCG from green tea, in a watery serum. Caffeine is one of the few eye-area ingredients with any data for the look of puffiness, and a 2024 review says that data is still thin and almost never run on the bottle you buy. This serum is not a moisturizer. Dry, crepey under-eyes want CeraVe or Avène on top or instead. It will not fix pigment or a hollow. Use a small amount morning and night. If it stings, stop. The percent is the useful part. The puffiness claim is still a look, not a measurement of this bottle.
