Best for Sensitive skin that accepts a white cast in exchange for a simple mineral lotion.
CeraVe's older mineral face sunscreen, SPF 50, with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid. The brand's own listing says mineral sunscreen can leave a white cast and tells you to massage it in thin layers. It is fragrance-free, and the listing says the National Eczema Association and the Skin Cancer Foundation have accepted it. That is a real reason to own it if chemical filters burn and you do not mind the cast. It is a bad pick if you need the sunscreen to disappear on deeper skin. CeraVe's newer Invisible Mineral bottle is the one that claims to fix the cast.
