CeraVe's newer mineral face sunscreen, SPF 50, sold as invisible on all skin tones. The brand says the formula is fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, and built with three ceramides, and it tells you to shake it. Independent lab scores for this bottle are not public. Consumer Reports' 2026 tests found mineral sunscreens as a group scored 18 to 55 out of 100, behind the chemical leaders, and that many sunscreens miss the SPF on the label. Treat the invisible claim as the brand's, and look at your face in daylight before you trust it. It is a better bet than the older CeraVe mineral lotion, which the brand itself says can leave a white cast.
