CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion
Updated Nov 8, 2026 · Top Moisturizers for Oily Skin
Best for Normal, oily, or barrier-damaged skin that wants a light night lotion with niacinamide.
An oil-free night lotion, not a treatment. Niacinamide is the fourth ingredient, after water, glycerin, and caprylic triglyceride. CeraVe does not print a percentage on the current US page. The same list has ceramides NP, AP, and EOP, cholesterol, and hyaluronic acid. It is fragrance-free and marked non-comedogenic. Dermatologist Dr. Schwarz, writing on Dermapedia, says it pulls water in and replaces barrier fats, and that nothing very occlusive sits on top, so very dry skin wants a richer cream over it. He also notes the letters PM do not mean it exfoliates: a breakout on this lotion is irritation, not purging. Use it at night if the CeraVe tub feels heavy. It has no sunscreen.
